THM – T680 Series – Safety Controller
T Safety Controller: This is an inseparable component of the advanced system solutions. It gives the basis to
functional safety in safety-critical systems in the industrial, robotics and construction machinery industries.
The controller is perfect in high-performance communication, multi-I/O control, and functional safety system projects.
The product uses Infineon AURIXâ„¢ processor that suits the needs of SIL (IEC) and ASIL.
D (ISO ) safety standards. This processor provides the best performance among Infineon -bit AURIXâ„¢
family, with as many as six processor cores at MHz each. This architecture is an improvement of system
performance, enhances productivity and enhances general control safety.
T Safety Controller has been designed based on the safety architecture (Category) of the EN recommended
safety architecture, standard and meets EN ISO, Performance Level d (PL d). An independent CPU core
is devoted to the safety of the system, which allows the safe communication between modules by means of
the internal data bus and promoting real time diagnostic monitoring. The design provides signal integrity and
improves data storage reliability.
