High-Performance Lift Control Valve -ET-02/04

The hydraulic lift valve type ET-02/04 is a compact hydraulic solution to control single-acting hydraulic cylinders.

The whole lift up/down process can be done stably and the rate of the retracting/lowering will not be influenced by the load.

Used in hydraulic lift platform with different solenoid valve voltages, like AC220V, AC110V, or DC24V, are available. ET-02/04 consists of compact hydraulic cartridge valves machined in the aluminium block.

ET-02/04 Lift Control Valve Working principle

The working mechanism of the ET-02/04 Lift Control Valve is based upon the control of the hydraulic flow during lift operation. When the mechanism for the lift is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid enters the cylinder causing the piston to move upwards lifting the load. The built-in check valve lets this upward flow but prevents reverse movement to hold the load in place when there is no pressure applied.

When lowering is required, the operator actuates the control valve and the fluid is allowed to return through the valve controlled. The flow control function maintains the speed of descent under control and uniform. At the same time, the pressure relief mechanism maintains the system at safe operating limits even if there is load shift or variation. This two – way function of holding and controlled descent makes the ET-02/04 valve suitable for lifting applications where precision and safety are a requirement.

ET Lift Control Valves Types

ET-02 Lift Control Valve:

This type is ideally suited for light duty application where the compact size and flow regulation is required. It offers reliable performance of smaller hydraulic systems such as pallet stackers and compact lifting platforms.

ET-04 Lift Control Valve:

ET-04 is a heavy duty version capable of dealing with larger loads and higher flow rates. How hydraulic lift valve system work:

Lift Up:

The cylinder will be extended when the electric motor is switched on, then hydraulic check valve and hydraulic solenoid valve holds the system pressure, so, the hydraulic cylinder will stay in the extended position/condition

Lower Down:

The electric hydraulic pump motor stay in switched off condition. For lowering the load solenoid valve is energized to release the hydraulic oil back to the tank from hydraulic cylinder. The lowering speed can be controlled by the flow control valve in the ET02/04 valve block.

Emergency Operating (Options):

In case of electrical power or hydraulic pump failure. The load can be released by the lowering valve with an emergency button/needle valve which can be operated manually.
